This issue of Arts starts off with a review of a Flobots concert. We know! We know! They had that annoying “Handlebars” song, but this review just proves that any show can have a silver lining; even shows at Webster Hall.
We also look back at MADtv. And what a sour, disgusted face we made as we looked back. But our disgusted faces perked right back up with a little diddy about MGMT, and two articles that prove the paper can really clean ourselves up and do something classy every once and a while — an Opera review, and a review of an exhibit at the Met. In the end, Arts finishes with a review of a Buckethead show, because, well, the paper always likes to end on a sour note (jk).
